Professor Ryan LaLumiere was recently awarded the 2022-2023 Graduate College Outstanding Faculty Mentor Award.

The award carries with it a stipend of $2,500 and a plaque recognizing this award. Each year the award winner is publicly announced at the Graduate Education Celebration.

It was shared that the nomination materials submitted on Dr. LaLumiere's behalf were impressive and showed that he continued to have profound impacts on his students both present and past. It was also clear the outstanding research and career guidance that Dr. LaLumiere provides to his students as well as the positive impact he has on students from underrepresented backgrounds.
