About Me
I am currently earning my PhD in Social Psychology at the University of Iowa. My current research is focusing on how individuals seek out and use information to inform their judgments and future behavior. My primary interest is in selective exposure, a phenomena where people tend to preferentially seek out and attend to information that's consistent with the existing beliefs, attitudes, and decisions. I'm also interested in how people use social comparison information to shape their future behaviors.I have a beautiful wife, Mandy, and a cat named Aslan. When I'm not busy with academic things, I enjoy listening to music, playing guitar, and reading.
