Blocks of rooms have been reserved at three hotels in the area. We recommend that reservation be made early as these hotels will not hold the rooms for us for very long without reservations, and reservations may be canceled if your plans change.

One block of rooms has been reserved at the Iowa House Hotel at the corner of N Madison & W Jefferson, downtown Iowa City. The Iowa House is part of the Iowa Memorial Union, located on campus within walking distance from the conference site. Parking (free for hotel guests) is in the garage across the street and validated at the Iowa House. Room rates are $65 for a double, breakfast not included. The number for reservations is (319) 335-3513, and mention the MCWOP conference when you call. Rooms must be reserved by September 20th except for four rooms that will be held until October 6th.

We also have a block of 15 rooms reserved at the Iowa City Sheraton, located downtown at 210 South Dubuque Street, which is also within walking distance of the conference site. Sheraton guests are provided with complimentary covered parking and complimentary shuttle service in the Iowa City/Coralville area. The Sheraton room rate is $119 plus tax. This block of rooms will be held until September 20th, so reservations should be made early and can be made online, with this link, or by phone at (319) 337-4058.

A third block of 25 rooms has been reserved at The Heartland Inn, 87 2nd Street, Coralville Iowa. This is not within walking distance to campus but there is a shuttle. Rates are $71.99 (double or single) with breakfast included. For reservations call (319) 351-8132 or 800-334-3277 (call prompt 17). Mention MCWO (without the "P") as the code to get the $71.99 rate. Reservations must be made by October 6th.

Individuals are responsible for making their own reservations.
