Andy Struck-Marcell graduated with a bachelor's degree in music and a minor in psychology.


Joe Kim graduated with a BS in Psychology from the University of Iowa. He lives in California and is attending the seminary.


Cindy Lee worked in the MACLab as a first year student in Speech/Langauge Pathology. She worked as a speech pathologist in Korea before coming to Iowa. While her work in Iowa was on examining comprehension processes in language impaired individual, she also has interests in reading, particularly the phenomenon of hyperlexia.


Scott Spilger, an Iowa City native, double-majored in Speech & Hearing Science and Linguistics. His principal interests are speech perception and psycholinguistics. Scott is now a graduate student in the Linguistics Department at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.


Chaitu Malempati majored in pre-med/psychology and minored in chemistry. He got interested in speech perception after a chance encounter with the Bob. Chaitu is currently attending medical school. He is originally from Canada... eh!?!


Joel Dennhardt is a graduate of MAClab with a B.S. in psychology. Due to his stellar undergraduate performance, he continued to work as part-time staff in the MACLab following graduation. He is currently working full time as a research assistant in an ERP lab at the University of Iowa Hospital.


Jed White majored in Psychology and minored in Business. He grew up in Fairfield, IA. His interests include making music, art, food, and philosophy. Jed currently works as a research assistant in in Prof. Jodie Plumert's lab.


Julianne Spoo majored in psychology and communication studies. She is originally from Glenwood, IA. She is interested in interpersonal communication and developmental psychology. Her plans for after graduation include studying children's psychology in graduate school.


Leslee Kellogg graduated in December of 2005 and is enrolled in the PhD program in Developmental Psychology at the University of Chicago.


John Lipinski got his PhD from the University of Iowa working with Prof. John Spencer. He also worked on a spatial language project in the MACLab and currently holds a postdoc position at the Institut für Neuroinformatik (INI), a research institute at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum in Germany.


Molly Robinson majored in psychology and journalism, with a Spanish minor. She also does research on schizophrenia in the Department of Psychiatry. Originally from small-town Miles, Iowa, she loves Iowa City. And the MacLab.


Stephanie Huette graduated with a BS in Psychology. She is from Fairfield, Iowa, like Jed, who introduced her to the MACLab. Her interests outside of psychology include writing poetry, fiction, and music; learning foreign languages (currently Spanish and German); and the culinary arts. She currently intends to pursue a graduate degree in cognition.


Brooke Overgard is a Psychology major interested in clinical psychology, specializing in adolescence. In the MACLab her work focused on research projects on specific language impairment.

Kristine Kovack-Lesh recently obtained her PhD in developmental psychology. Originally from the Chicago area, she worked with both Prof. Lisa Oakes the MACLab. She just started her first semester as an assitant professor at Ripon College.


Jennifer Merickel is currently working on a Ph.D. in the Brain and Cognitive Sciences Department at the University of Rochester. Her advisors are Michael Tanenhaus and Richard Aslin
