Research Positions for Graduate Students

If you are interested in obtaining Ph.D., the University of Iowa provides an excellent research environment (click here to enter the UI picture gallery) and the Department of Psychology has maintained a strong tradition of animal research. If you are interested in pursuing a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in our laboratory in the Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience (BCN) program in the Psychology Department at the University of Iowa, please feel free to contact me to find more about the program and research opportunities in the laboratory.
Research Assistantship for Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students can perform various activities in our laboratory (all year long including summer), earning course credits, and potentially developing their own honors theses based on the experiments. The undergraduate research assistantship in our lab needs (i) at least two semesters of commitment, (ii) minimum GPA of 3.0, and (iii) time commitment (it requires you to spend about 2 hours on a daily basis without any significant gap). If you think you can meet these requirements, please send me your brief resume and transcript to start the application process. If you have other questions about the opportunities to work in our laboratory or about research in general, please feel free to contact me.
