Response-Dependent Reinforcement
Response-dependent reinforcement requires the organism to perform an operant response before receiving reinforcement.
An example of response-dependent reinforcement involves a vending machine. If after inserting your money into the machine you don't push the proper button to deliver your candy bar, then you will not receive the reinforcer.
