Facilities

The visual cognition laboratory is located in Seashore Hall at the University of Iowa, a short distance from downtown Iowa City. The facilities include a suite of rooms for data collection, experiment development, and data analysis. The lab is predominantly Macintosh based, with Macs used for behavioral studies. We use Linux workstations for neural network simulations using the PDP++ simulator developed at Carnegie Mellon University.
