I'm a professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Iowa. And yes, that is my brain on the previous page. You also can view an Andy Warhol inspired picture of me.
I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Psychology at Carnegie Mellon University (1995) and my B.S. from the Department of Psychology at the University of Oregon (1990).
I regularly teach the department's Elementary Psychology course, in addition to graduate courses in my specialty area. I received a Collegiate Teaching Award in 2005, and I gave the faculty address at commencement in 2005.
