Jodie M. Plumert is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Iowa. Dr. Plumert received her Ph.D. from the Institute of Child Development at the University of Minnesota in 1990. Her research interests include spatial cognition and communication, perceptual-motor development, and unintentional childhood injuries. Dr. Plumert is a fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Association for Psychological Sciences. She has served on the executive committee of Division 7 of the APA and as associate editor of the Journal of Experimental Child Psychology.
