Introduction
There is growing use of Complimentary and Alternative medicine (CAM) in western society. However, little is known about the efficacy of many CAM treatments. Recent surveys indicate that breast cancer patients are the most likely patients to seek CAM treatment. The purpose of this study is to determine if a frequently used CAM therapy, Healing Touch, is effective in strengthening the immune system of patients during their treatment for breast cancer.
