ERP Stimuli

Instructions

For each set of stimuli, your task is to locate the square with the gap facing downward. Try to keep your eyes fixed on the cross at the center of the display and not move them while you search. You should be able to sense yourself attending to different locations as you search for the target.

Try it!

By recording ERPs during this task, we demonstrated that attention shifts serially from one item in the array to another rather than act in parallel searching all items at once.
